These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Instagram Maps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

What the service does

Instagram Maps helps creators visualize audience geography, understand content performance by location, and receive content recommendations. Some features display clearly labeled demo data until you connect Instagram.

Relationship with Meta and Instagram

Instagram Maps is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. Connected-account access happens through Meta's official APIs after you approve permissions.

Your account and acceptable use

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country. Do not misuse the service, access another user's data, violate laws or rights, scrape or resell service data, or violate Instagram's or Meta's terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid plan. Prices and included features are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Your content and data

You retain all rights to your Instagram content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to display your data back to you and generate analytics and recommendations. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data, including deletion requests.

Analytics accuracy

Audience figures, performance metrics, and recommendations are estimates based on data available through the APIs and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee their accuracy or any business outcome from acting on them.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
